The Mount Roskill Saints play in the Auckland Australian Football League (AAFL) and have been around since the 90s.
One of the stronger sides in the competition for many years, the Saints have only managed to win three premiership flags, with quite a few unlucky Grand Final appearances.
The Saint's home ground is War Memorial Park on May Road, Mt Roskill, which is probably the biggest ground in the league - fitness being such a big factor in the game of Aussie Rules, this can certainly be an advantage in home games.
A very family oriented club, the club is mostly made up of New Zealanders, many have been with the club since they were just old enough to play. The AAFL doesn't currently have a juniors division, but this is something we expect will be added in the next few years.
We are always on the lookout for new recruits, and spend a lot of time with new players getting them up to speed with new ball-handling skills. Many of our best players come from a rugby background, and are looking for a fast, exciting game to keep fit in the off-season.
